1. Set the table: Rinse the pieces before use. Arrange the gaiwan, pitcher, and the cups you need on a stable surface, leaving a clear path for pouring and a separate place for discarded rinse water.
2. Brew in the gaiwan: Add loose leaves and water heated separately to suit the tea. Keep water below the rim. If the gaiwan grip is new to you, practice with cool water before a hot session.
3. Collect and serve: Create a narrow gap beneath the lid and decant into the pitcher, retaining larger leaves in the gaiwan. Divide the infusion among the cups, then repeat steeping as appropriate for the tea.
4. Wash and put away: Remove spent leaves and hand wash each piece gently. Rinse thoroughly and allow all parts to dry separately before returning them to the gift box or a closed storage space.

Q: What is the serving pitcher for?

We offer a 14-day return policy, meaning you can request a return within 14days of receiving your item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
For returns due to personal reasons (non-quality issues), the buyer is responsible for shipping costs; for returns due to quality issues, the seller covers the shipping costs.

If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods (like food, flowers, or plants), custom products (like special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (like beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about a specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the goods are being shipped to the EU, you have the right to cancel your order or return the items within 14 days without providing a reason. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund request has been approved. If approved, the refund will be automatically issued to your original payment method; funds typically appear in your account within 10 business days.
We will issue a full refund if the return is due to an issue on the seller's part; however, if the return is for personal reasons, the buyer is responsible for shipping costs and a 5% transaction processing fee.
