Tea Set Accessories: Walnut "Six Gentlemen" Tea Utensil Set

The ovanyu Walnut Six Gentlemen Tea Utensil Set brings together five essential gongfu tea tools in a single, cohesive collection. Each piece — tea needle, tea scoop, tea brush, tea pick, and tea tongs — is crafted from solid walnut, with the natural grain and warm, deep-brown tone that walnut is known for. They store upright in a cylindrical walnut holder with an engraved exterior, keeping the tea table organized and the tools immediately at hand. The “Black Gold” colorway pairs the natural warmth of walnut wood with darker accents for a composed, slightly dramatic aesthetic that works as well in a modern setting as a traditional one.

• Solid Walnut Throughout — Every tool and the holder itself are made from walnut — a hardwood known for its fine grain, natural density, and deep, chocolate-brown tone. The material develops a quiet patina with regular handling, improving over time rather than wearing out.
• Five Tools, Every Function Covered — The set addresses the full range of gongfu tea table actions: the needle clears spouts and separates compressed teas, the scoop measures and transfers leaves, the brush sweeps the tray surface clean, the pick guides leaves into the teapot, and the tongs handle hot cups hygienically. Nothing is missing.
• Engraved Cylindrical Holder — The holder stores all five tools upright and within reach, with a carved exterior that makes it a display object in its own right. At 7 × 19 cm, it has a commanding presence on the tea table without occupying unnecessary space.
• Black Gold Colorway — The “Black Gold” finish pairs rich walnut grain with deeper accents, giving the set a more dramatic, formal quality that suits darker tea table setups and complements lacquerware, dark stone, or ebony-toned accessories.
• A Complete, Gift-Ready Set — Presented as a matched collection in a single holder, this set makes a considered and culturally resonant gift for anyone who practices or is beginning to explore gongfu tea.

Q: What does "Six Gentlemen of the Tea Ceremony" refer to?
A: The name refers to the group of essential tools traditionally used in Chinese gongfu tea preparation. This set presents five of those tools alongside a holder, covering the core functions of a full tea session.

Q: How do I care for walnut wood tools?
A: Wipe each tool dry after use and avoid soaking in water. Conditioning with a food-safe wood oil every few months will help maintain the natural tone and smoothness of the walnut over time.

A: The tea brush uses natural bristles, which are effective for sweeping moisture and fine residue from teapot surfaces and tea trays without scratching.
